Vegan Jewellery in 18K Premium Gold Plated

Most jewellery quietly contains animal-derived materials — pearls (oyster), coral, shell-based inlays, some leather cords, sometimes silk-based coating on silver. Moonela vegan jewellery excludes all of these. Pieces are built from Premium 18K Gold Plated over sterling silver or stainless steel, with cubic zirconia or real non-animal gemstones. Cruelty-free by construction, hypoallergenic, waterproof, tarnish-free — and at the same demi-fine prices as our mainstream collection, not a premium for the vegan claim.

What Makes Jewellery Vegan

Pearl, coral, shell and bone are animal-derived. Silk thread and leather cord are animal-derived. Even some gold plating processes use animal-based sealants. Moonela avoids all of these — our Premium 18K Gold Plated process uses no animal-based ingredients, our stones are cubic zirconia or real non-animal gemstones (moonstone, onyx, rose quartz, garnet, sapphire, etc.), and our cords are synthetic where cord is used. The collection sits across necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and anklets.

Moonela Vegan Construction

Premium Gold Plated: 18K gold bonded over sterling silver or surgical-grade 316L stainless steel, minimum 2.5 microns thickness (US FTC standard). Sterling silver: genuine 925 with hypoallergenic alloy, no nickel. Stones: cubic zirconia, real moonstone, real onyx, real rose quartz, real quartz-family gemstones, real birthstones for all twelve months where the birthstone is not animal-derived. Finish: anti-tarnish treatment on silver, waterproof on Premium Gold Plated. Every piece is hypoallergenic and carries a lifetime warranty on plating and quality where applicable.
